Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in the relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks from a recognized university/institute.
• Experience:

  • Manager: Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in cost estimation for feasibility studies, project economic analysis, cost optimization studies and estimates for various procurement requirements during project execution in Refinery/ Petrochemical/ Gas Processing/ LNG plants.
  • Deputy Manager (Cost Engg): Minimum 4 years experience in similar areas as above.
  • Deputy Manager (Mech/Met Engg): Minimum 4 years experience of Risk Based Inspection, Reliability, Availability & Maintainability, Fitness for Purpose in Refinery/ Petrochemical/Gas Processing/ Fertilizer/ Chemical plants.

• Post-graduates in engineering will be given relaxation in experience by one year, and Ph.D. by four years.
• The specified qualification should have been acquired within the prescribed minimum course duration.
• Experience period is calculated as on the cut-off date 30.11.2025.

Salary/Stipend

• Manager Pay Scale: Rs. 80,000-2,20,000. Total CTC (approx) p.a: Rs 26.66 lacs.
• Deputy Manager Pay Scale: Rs. 70,000-2,00,000. Total CTC (approx) p.a: Rs 23.45 lacs.
• CTC includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Other Perks & Allowances, encashment of earned leaves and Retirement benefits as applicable.

Age Limit (as on 30-11-2025)

• Upper age limit as on 30.11.2025:
• Manager: 36 years
• Deputy Manager: 32 years
• Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10-15 years for PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and Departmental candidates is applicable.

Selection Process

• The mode of selection will be through Interview at New Delhi/Gurugram or through video conferencing.
• EIL may restrict the number of candidates for interview by raising the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or relevance of experience.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be informed for the interview through email.
• Final selection is provisional subject to document verification at the time of interview.

General Information/Instructions

• A candidate can apply for only one position in this advertisement.
• The place of posting shall be anywhere in India and abroad (Head Office New Delhi/Gurugram, Regional Offices, Construction Sites etc.).
• Candidates applying against OBC-NCL category should upload a valid caste certificate (valid as on 09.01.2026).
• Candidates working in PSU/Govt. Sector must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview/document verification.
• Outstation Candidates called for interview for the position of Deputy Manager and Manager shall be entitled to IInd AC sleeper rail fare reimbursement.
