Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: M.E. / M.Tech (Electrical / Energy / Mechanical Engineering) Or B.Tech (Electrical / Energy / Mechanical Engineering) + 3 years of relevant experience
• Essential qualifications: Knowledge of the Power System / Power Sector / Energy Sector. An understanding of the regulatory and policy aspects of the Indian power market is preferred.
• Desirable: Experience in data analytics. Expertise in production cost modeling using GAMS/ Python/R would be an added advantage. Strong understanding of power market products and regulatory frameworks, including the Grid Code, Deviation Settlement Mechanism (DSM), Ancillary Services, etc. Proven expertise in data analysis, modelling, research, and problem-solving. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write comprehensive reports. Ability to compile and analyse power system data.
• Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in the Power System / Power Sector / Energy Sector (for B.Tech candidates)

Salary/Stipend

• Rs. 31600-2600-78400 PM Consolidated
• (Higher starting salary may be considered for exceptionally qualified/experienced candidates as per IITK Rules)
