Eligibility Criteria
Residential Qualification:
- Rural Home Guard: Must be permanent resident of the block in Garhwa district from which applying.
- Urban Home Guard: Must be general resident of urban area in Garhwa district.
Educational Qualification:
- Rural Home Guard: Minimum 7th Pass
- Urban Home Guard: Minimum 10th (Matric) Pass
Physical Standards:
- Height: Male – 162 cm (General/OBC/BC), 157 cm (SC/ST); Female – 148 cm (All categories)
- Chest (Male only): 79 cm (General/OBC/BC), 76 cm (SC/ST)
Technical Qualification (Only for Technical Urban Home Guard): Proficiency in technical fields such as electrician, firefighter, driver, teacher, nurse, computer operator, etc.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- Minimum Age Limit: 19 Years
- Maximum Age limit: 40 Years
