Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification (Essential):

  • B.E./B.Tech. (4-year full-time degree) from a recognized University / Institute in any one of the following:

    • Computer Science / Computer Engineering
    • Information Technology
    • Electronics & Communication Engineering
    • Electronics & Telecommunication
    • Electronics & Electrical Communication
    • or any equivalent discipline relevant to IT

  • OR MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
  • OR M.Sc. (Computer Science / IT)

• Desirable: MBA / PG Diploma in Management (Information Systems / IT / Operations / General Management)
• Experience (Essential):

  • Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in Government / PSU environment.
  • Experience should include exposure to one or more of the following:

    • IT infrastructure planning
    • Cyber security
    • Data centres
    • SAP/ERP systems
    • Enterprise applications
    • Digital transformation
    • e-Governance systems etc.

Salary/ Stipend

• Pay Scale (IDA): ₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000 plus applicable allowances
• In addition: Perks, Lease/HRA, Medical benefits, EPF, Gratuity etc., as per extant rules
• Service Bond: ₹8 Lakhs for 03 years

Age Limit (as on 27-01-2026)

• Maximum Age: Not above 57 years

Selection Process

• Applications shall be screened by a Scrutiny Committee with reference to the eligibility criteria.
• Only candidates found eligible and shortlisted shall be called for interview.
• Selection shall be based on Interview (domain knowledge, experience, overall performance and suitability).
• RVNL reserves the right to modify the selection process, or cancel/postpone the recruitment.
