HBCSE Project Scientific Assistant, Project Assistant and More Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Project Scientific Assistant – B (Vigyan Pratibha Project):
  Essential: Full-time B.Sc./B.S. (in any stream of Science or Mathematics) with aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications. 0–2 years’ qualification experience in the field of educational content development, teaching, education research and social or similar developmental projects.
  Desirable: M.Sc. (in any stream of Science or Mathematics) with aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Experience in teaching/scientific writing/development of educational activities. Ability to work with rigorous scientific and mathematical content at school level. Good proficiency in English and writing skills. Ability to engage with learning needs of Indian students. Basic knowledge of MS-Office, Libre-office etc.
• Project Scientific Assistant – B (NIUS Chemistry Cell):
  Essential: Full-time Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry with aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications. 0-1 year qualification experience in Chemistry laboratories or teaching.
  Desirable: Masters of Science in any stream of Chemistry with aggregate of 60% marks. Good computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, LaTeX, Corel Draw or equivalent). Familiarity with chemical structure making softwares. Experience in maintaining chemistry laboratory equipment. Good writing skills.
• Project Assistant:
  Essential: Graduate with aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Knowledge of typing. Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications (supported by certificates). Minimum 1-year qualification experience in clerical work in a large and reputed organization.
  Desirable: Familiarity with MS Office, Linux etc. Proficiency in English (verbal and writing). Designing and Creative Presentation Skills (Canva and similar tools).
• Technical Trainee (D&T):
  Essential: Science graduate from recognised University/Institute OR Diploma in Engineering.
  Desirable: Interest in field of education and teaching. Fluent in any two of English, Hindi, Marathi. Basic Computer skills and familiarity with graphic design software.
• Technical Trainee (Civil):
  Essential: Full time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Government recognized University/Institute.
  Desirable: Knowledge of use of personal computer and software like AutoCAD, MS-Office etc.
• Clerk Trainee:
  Essential: Graduate from recognised University/Institute. Knowledge of typing and use of personal computers and applications.
  Desirable: Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email). Good communication and organizational skills. Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Salary/Stipend

• Project Scientific Assistant – B: Rs. 63900/- (Incl. of HRA Rs. 9558/-)
• Project Assistant: Rs. 41100/- (Incl. of HRA Rs. 5859/-)
• Technical Trainee: Rs. 23000/-
• Technical Trainee (Civil): Rs. 23000/-
• Clerk Trainee: Rs. 22000/-

• Project Scientific Assistant – B: 28 years (UR & EWS), 31 years (OBC)
• Project Assistant: 28 years (UR)
• Technical Trainee: 28 years (UR)

Selection Process

• Walk-in-Selection (which may include written tests, skill test and interviews)
• HBCSE reserves the right to conduct written tests, skill test and the interviews or postpone or cancel the entire selection process

General Information/Instructions

• All posts are temporary (duration varies from 6 months to 1-3 years based on requirement and performance)
• Project/Trainee staff will not be entitled for Institute provided accommodation
• Candidates must bring duly filled Application Form with self-attested enclosures at the time of interview
• Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate
• HBCSE reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates and to cancel/postpone the process
