JNU Project Associate Recruitment 2026 Overview

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Bioinformatics, M.Tech. in Data Science/Computer Science or any other allied field or B.Tech. in the same areas with prior experience
• Preference: Experience on working with images and deep learning. Prior experience in working with Python environment is a must.
• Required Background: Prior experience in using biological data, analytical tools and working with data-related methods and deep learning tools/framework is required. If you have M.Sc. in any branch of life sciences (other than in Bioinformatics) or B.Tech. in any other areas, other than Data Science or Computer Science or Allied field and do not have prior experience with image analysis, do not apply. The position does not require conducting experiments in the lab.

Salary/ Stipend

• Consolidated fixed emoluments per month: 31,000 + HRA with NET/GATE and 25,000 + HRA without NET/GATE (for Project Associate)
