Eligibility Criteria for Mumbai Port Authority Medical Officer & Biochemist 2025
1. Educational Qualification & Experience
- MBBS degree from a statutory university
- Relevant Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma as per post (see table above)
- For all Medical Officer posts: Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Officer in a well-established hospital after internship
- For Biochemist: Minimum 1 year experience as Biochemist after M.Sc Biochemistry
- Working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi
2. Age Limit
- Maximum: 45 years (relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government rules)
Salary / Stipend
- Medical Officer (Intensivist / Biochemistry): ₹1,27,000/- p.m
- Medical Officer (Radiology): ₹1,15,000/- p.m
- Biochemist (M.Sc): ₹1,00,000/- p.m
- In case of allotment of Mumbai Port Authority quarters, HRA will be deducted + License Fee + Electricity charges + Refundable deposit ₹25,000/-
