Educational Qualification

• Essential qualifications:

  • M.A. (Literature) in English.

• Desirable qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in the relevant subject.
  • Experience in UG/PG teaching, research and extension in recognized projects/organizations.
  • Publications in peer‑reviewed (NAAS rated) / Scopus indexed / Web of Science / UGC-CARE listed journals.

Salary/Stipend

• Rs. 35,000/- per month for PG Degree holders.
• Rs. 40,000/- per month for Ph.D. Degree holders.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 40 years for Men.
• Upper age limit: 45 years for Women.

The selection will be done through a walk-in interview for the post of Teaching Associate in the Department of English at Agricultural College, Bapatla, on contract full-time and purely temporary basis.

• Interested and eligible candidates have to attend the walk-in interview on the scheduled date and time at Agricultural College, Bapatla.
• The post is for 11 months from date of joining or till filling of regular post, whichever is earlier.

• The engagement is purely temporary and contractual and will be terminated after completion of 11 months or on filling of regular staff, whichever is earlier.
• The incumbent will not have any claim or right for regular appointment in the University or any government organization.
• The incumbent will not have any claim or right for further continuation of contractual service.
• Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification at the time of selection or termination during the contractual engagement period.
• Contractual engagement can be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason.
• The engaged person may also leave the contractual service by giving one month notice or by paying one month salary before leaving.
• The selected candidate will be required to undergo medical examination at own expense as per rules for ensuring physical fitness before appointment.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the interview.
• The decision of the selection committee for the above post will be final and binding in all respects.
• The Associate Dean reserves the right to cancel or postpone the interviews for the said post and date due to any unavoidable circumstances.
