Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Persons with National Trade Certificate (ITI/ITC) in the Electrician/Wireman and/or wireman permit issued by the Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board
Salary/ Stipend
- Consolidated remuneration per month ₹ 19,310/-

- ₹185/- for SC/ST candidates

General Information / Instructions
The tenure of appointment on contract will be as decided by the University from time to time. Reservation rules of the state are applicable for appointment to the above post. The University reserves the right to shortlist the candidates on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying degree. Candidates who have worked for four years or more on contract appointment in the University will be considered for appointment only in the absence of qualified hands who have not completed four years of appointment on contract basis.
The appointment, conditions of service, emoluments and other service benefits shall be governed by the provisions of K.S.R, K.S & S.S.R, Act/Statutes/ Ordinances and Syndicate decisions of CUSAT as amended from time to time.

- The signed hard copy of the uploaded form along with proof for age, educational qualifications, experience, community should reach the “Registrar, Administrative Office, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi-22” on or before 20 January 2026 with the superscription on the envelope “Application for the post of Line Helper on contract basis”.
