Eligibility Criteria

For Senior Project Fellow (SPF) – Post 1 & 3:

• Essential Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Forestry/Agriculture/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Botany
• Essential Experience: 02 years research experience in Plant Tissue Culture
• Desirable Qualification:

  • Experience in data collection, analysis and report writing
  • Efficient in working on Computers (MS Word, PPT, Excel etc.)

For Project Assistant (PA) – Post 2 & 4:

• Essential Qualification: 1st class B.Sc. in Forestry/Agriculture/Biotechnology/Life Sciences
• Desirable Qualification:

  • Research experience of working in plant nursery and laboratory
  • Working knowledge of Computer (MS Office etc.)

For Junior Project Fellow (JPF) – Post 5:

• Essential Qualification: 1st class M.Sc./M.Tech. in Environment Management/Environmental Science/Forestry/Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/Water Management/Land and Water Management/Ecology and Environment Sciences
• Desirable Qualification:

  • Knowledge of GIS and Remote Sensing

For Project Assistant (PA) – Post 6:

• Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Science/Forestry/Agriculture/Life Sciences or related discipline from a recognized University
• Desirable Qualification:

  • Postgraduate degree in Botany, Forestry, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Ecology & Biodiversity, Chemistry or Statistics with experience in field surveys, nursery and seed studies, laboratory analyses, data/statistical analysis (Excel/SPSS/R) and report writing

For Project Assistant (PA) – Post 7:

• Essential Qualification: First Class B.Sc. degree in Agriculture/Forestry/Life Science
• Desirable Qualification:

  • Working knowledge of MS Office

Salary/Stipend

• Senior Project Fellow (SPF): Rs. 28,000/- per month (fixed without HRA)
• Junior Project Fellow (JPF): Rs. 24,000/- per month (fixed)
• Project Assistant (PA) – Post 2, 4, 7: Rs. 19,000/- per month (fixed without HRA)
• Project Assistant (PA) – Post 6: Rs. 20,000/- per month (fixed)
• Note: Appointment will be made subject to receipt of budget or availability of fund

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

• Senior Project Fellow (SPF): Maximum 32 years
• Junior Project Fellow (JPF): Maximum 28 years
• Project Assistant (PA): Maximum 28 years
• Age Relaxation: Relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Women, Divyangjan and OBC applicants

• Candidates are required to appear for walk-in interview at Director Meeting room, ICFRE-TFRI, Jabalpur
• Interview will be conducted on 05/01/2026 at 10:00 AM onwards
• Registration will be done from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
• Entry will not be given after 10:30 AM
• Engagement will be purely temporary and co-terminus with the project

• Eligible interested candidates are required to appear for walk-in interview with application form giving full bio-data including address for communication
• Candidates must bring attested copies of degree/certificates and one passport size photograph
• Documents must be produced at the time of interview
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
• Registration will be done from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
• Entry will not be given after 10:30 AM
• Interview venue: Director Meeting room, ICFRE-TFRI, Jabalpur
• Appointment will be made subject to receipt of budget or availability of fund
