Eligibility Criteria

• This notice is for candidates who have already been provisionally seat allocated for the post of Nursing Officer for JIPMER, Puducherry and JIPMER, Yanam based on performance in NORCET-9 Computer Based Test Stage-I and Stage-II.
• Candidates must fulfill all conditions of eligibility (educational qualification, age, experience, reservation, etc.) as laid down in the original Advertisement Notification for JIPMER Puducherry Notice No. 268/2025 dated 22.07.2025 and related NORCET-9 result notifications.
• Candidates have to bring proof of age (Birth Certificate/SSLC mark statement) in original along with self-attested copies.
• Candidates must produce all relevant educational qualification certificates starting from SSLC onwards in original along with self-attested copies.
• Relevant experience certificate (if applicable) clearly mentioning duration of experience, number of beds, etc., has to be produced.
• Nursing Council Registration Certificate in original is mandatory.
• Community certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) have to be in prescribed Government of India format and valid for the relevant financial year as specified in this notice.
• Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates must produce disability certificate in prescribed format and will be subject to medical examination by JIPMER Medical Board, whose decision will be final.
• Candidature is purely provisional; at any stage, if eligibility conditions are not satisfied, the candidature will be cancelled and no appeal will be entertained.

Age Limit

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Candidates were shortlisted for provisional seat allocation based on performance in NORCET-9 Computer Based Test Stage-I and Stage-II held on 14.09.2025 and 27.09.2025 respectively, followed by provisional seat allocation notification No. 251/2025 dated 17.11.2025.
• The present stage is document verification in physical mode for provisionally seat allocated candidates for Nursing Officer posts at JIPMER Puducherry and JIPMER Yanam.
• Candidates must report for document verification as per schedule; failure to report will be treated as unwillingness to join, and candidature will be cancelled without further notice.
• Provisional seat allocation is only for document verification purpose and does not guarantee appointment; final selection list will be notified only after completion of document verification.
• If at any stage it is found that a candidate does not fulfill eligibility conditions or produces incomplete/invalid documents, his/her candidature will be cancelled.

How To Apply

• This notice does not open a new application window; it applies only to candidates who have already applied earlier through NORCET-9 process and received provisional seat allocation for Nursing Officer posts.
• Provisionally seat allocated candidates must:

  • Download and carefully read this document verification notice from the JIPMER website.
  • Prepare all required original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies as listed under “Instructions”.
  • Prepare the prescribed affidavit on Rs.20/- non-judicial stamp paper as per Annexure-I and get it duly notarized.
  • Report in person at the College of Nursing, JIPMER Campus, Dhanvantari Nagar Post, Puducherry at 08:00 AM on the date corresponding to their Sl. No. and Annexure.

• Further updates and any changes will be available only on the official JIPMER website.

Instructions

• Only provisionally seat allocated candidates for JIPMER Puducherry and JIPMER Yanam listed in Annexures A to E are eligible to attend document verification.
• Candidates must bring all original certificates with one set of self-attested copies; if any required original document is not produced, the candidate will not be allowed to proceed further under any circumstances.
• Documents to bring include: recent passport size photographs (5 copies), admit card of written examination/CBT, self-attested copy of online application, affidavit on Rs.20/- non-judicial stamp paper as per Annexure-I duly notarized, proof of age, identity and address proof, educational qualification certificates from SSLC onwards, relevant experience certificates (if applicable), Nursing Council Registration, and applicable community/category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD).
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate must be in prescribed format, issued for financial year 2025–26, based on income up to 31.03.2025 and issued on or after 01.04.2025.
• EWS certificate must be in prescribed format based on income and asset for year 2024–25, issued on or after 01.04.2025 and valid for year 2025–26.
• PwD candidates must undergo medical examination by JIPMER Medical Board; its decision on disability status will be final.
• No Objection Certificate from present employer is required for candidates currently employed in Government/other organizations.
• Candidates have to bear their own travel, lodging and boarding expenses; JIPMER will not pay TA/DA or arrange accommodation.
• No individual call letters will be sent for document verification; candidates must follow information available in this notice and on the JIPMER website, and later claims of not receiving intimation will not be considered.
• Candidates must ensure strict compliance with eligibility to avoid cancellation of candidature; if any information is found false or criteria not fulfilled, their candidature will be cancelled and appropriate administrative/legal action may be taken.
