Eligibility Criteria
Essential qualifications include a valid driving license for light and heavy motor vehicles, knowledge of motor mechanisms, at least three years of experience driving light and heavy motor vehicles, and a 10th Standard pass from a recognized board. Desirable qualification is three years’ service as Home Guard or Civil Volunteers.
Salary/Stipend
The position is classified under Level 2 of the pay matrix based on the 7th CPC, with a basic pay range of Rs. 19,900/- per month, in addition to standard allowances for Central Government employees.
Age Limit (as on 19-01-2026)
The typical age range for direct recruitment is 18 to 27 years. Age relaxations are provided for SC/ST candidates (5 years) and OBC candidates (3 years) as per Central Government guidelines.
