Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications:

• Super Speciality Doctor (Professor of Neonatology):

  • Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or Equivalent Qualification
  • MD in Paediatrics
  • DM/DNB in Neonatology
  • Permanent Registration Under TCMC/Kerala Medical Council for MBBS and Post Graduation

• Super Speciality Doctor (Cardiac Anesthesia):

  • Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent qualification
  • MD/DNB/Diploma in Anesthesia and DM Cardiac Anesthesia. In the absence; MD/DNB/Diploma in Anesthesia and PDCC in Cardiac Anesthesia
  • Permanent registration under TCMC for MBBS, Post-Graduation and Super Specialty

• Specialist Doctor-Dermatology:

  • Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent qualification
  • Medical Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Dermatology from a recognized university/DNB in Dermatology
  • Permanent Registration Under TCMC/Kerala Medical Council for MBBS and Post Graduation

• RBSK Coordinator:

  • MSc Nursing with valid KNC Registration
  • In the absence of candidates with “MSc Nursing”, “BSc Nursing with 3 years experience and valid KNC Registration” will be considered

• Staff Nurse – Palliative Care:

  • GNM/BSc Nursing
  • Valid Kerala Nursing Council Registration
  • Basic Certificate Course in Palliative Nursing (BCCPN)

• Audiologist cum Speech Therapist (MIU) / Audiologist (NPPCD):

  • Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)
  • Should have valid RCI Registration

• Female Counsellor-GBVMC(Bhoomika):

  • Master of Social Work (MSW)

Experience:

• Super Speciality Doctor (Professor of Neonatology): Teaching experience in Neonatology – minimum 3 years as Associate Professor of Neonatology in a NMC recognised MCH
• RBSK Coordinator: 3 years experience (for BSc Nursing candidates if MSc Nursing not available)
• Audiologist cum Speech Therapist/Audiologist: Three years post qualification Experience
• Female Counsellor-GBVMC(Bhoomika): Minimum two year post qualification experience in Medical/Psychiatric Counselling

Salary/Stipend

• Super Speciality Doctor (Professor of Neonatology): Rs. 1,00,000/- per month
• Super Speciality Doctor (Cardiac Anesthesia): Rs. 1,00,000/- per month
• Specialist Doctor-Dermatology: Rs. 78,000/- per month or Rs. 2000/- (maximum) for each sitting (3 hours on designated day)
• RBSK Coordinator: Rs. 30,000/- per month
• Staff Nurse – Palliative Care: Rs. 20,500/- per month
• Audiologist cum Speech Therapist (MIU) / Audiologist (NPPCD): Rs. 30,000/- per month
• Female Counsellor-GBVMC(Bhoomika): Rs. 20,500/- per month

Age Limit 

• Super Speciality Doctor (Professor of Neonatology): Below 63 years
• Super Speciality Doctor (Cardiac Anesthesia): Below 63 years
• Specialist Doctor-Dermatology: Below 63 years
• RBSK Coordinator: Below 40 years
• Staff Nurse – Palliative Care: Below 40 years
• Audiologist cum Speech Therapist (MIU) / Audiologist (NPPCD): Below 40 years
• Female Counsellor-GBVMC(Bhoomika): Below 40 years

Application Fee

• Application Fee: Rs. 350/- (Rupees Three Hundred and Fifty only)
• Mode of Payment: Demand Draft (DD) in favor of “DHFWS-OTHERS TRIVANDRUM”, Payable at Thiruvananthapuram
• Note: Original DD must be submitted along with the printed application form

Selection Process

• Selection of the candidates will only be based on prescribed qualification, experience and performance in test/interview
• Selection will be as per the Circular No: NHM/4827/ADMN1/2019/SPMSU dated 28.10.2019
• The vacancies are for immediate requirement and the society may prioritize the interview for different category of posts, on the basis of requirements
• Candidates may be required to produce the originals at the time of interview/certificate verification process
• All selected candidates will be governed by Rules and Regulations of NHM in force from time to time

General Information/Instructions

• The applications are to be submitted through nhmtvm.com or arogyakeralam.gov.in websites. Only such applications will be considered
• Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected
• Selected candidates will have to enter into a contract with the District Health and Family Welfare Society (Arogyakeralam) Thiruvananthapuram District
• Selected candidates will be appointed on contract basis initially for a period of three months only
• The District Health & Family Welfare Society (Arogyakeralam) may at its discretion, based on the performance and integrity of the successful candidate, may extend the period of contract
• Candidate should be willing to work in any institution in Thiruvananthapuram District as decided by the Society
• Claims in respect of qualifications/experience etc. should be supported by copies of relevant documents
• No TA/DA will be paid for the interview
• All communications from the Society will be intimated to the candidates through e-mail
