Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications (Project Research Scientist -I):
- First Class Post Graduate Degree including the integrated PG degrees.
- OR Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees with Ph.D.
- Qualifications (Project Technical Support -II):
- B.Sc – MLT (Medical Lab Technology)
- OR DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology) with two year experience in relevant subject / field
- Experience (Desirable for Scientist): Execution of the proposal requires highly skilled professionals with experience in Molecular Biology, and Neurobiology, including hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques and data analysis.
- Experience (Desirable for Technical Support): Experience in histopathology & Immunohistochemistry in a recognized organization.
Salary/Stipend
- PROJECT RESEARCH SCIENTIST -I (NON-MEDICAL): Rs.56,000+30% HRA per month.
- Project Technical Support -II: Rs.20,000+30% HRA per month.
Age Limit (as on 19-12-2025)
- Maximum age limit for Project Research Scientist -I is 35 Years.
- Maximum age limit for Project Technical Support -II is 30 Years.
Important Dates
Selection Process
- Selection is via a Walk-in-Selection process which may include a written/skill test followed by an interview.
- Candidates must register their names half an hour before the commencement of the written/skill test.
General Information/Instructions
- The posts are on a contract basis for the ICMR-CAR funded project entitled “Exploring the pathobiology of brain aging in Indian population…”.
- The duration of the post is 5 years. Initial appointment is for one year, extendable yearly depending upon performance/project end date.
- NOC from the Principal Investigator is required if working in projects within NIMHANS.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview.
