Eligibility Criteria
Primary School Teacher (General) – Class 1 to 5
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
- Senior Secondary (45% marks) with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE 2002 norms), or
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) with 4-year B.El.Ed. degree, or
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Must have passed the REET exam.
Primary School Teacher (Sanskrit) – Class 1 to 5
- Senior Upadhyaya (50% marks) with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
- Senior Upadhyaya (45% marks) with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
- Senior Upadhyaya (50% marks) with 4-year B.El.Ed. degree, or
- Shastri Degree with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Must have passed the REET exam.
Upper Primary School Teacher (Sanskrit)
- Shastri Degree with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed., or
- Shastri with B.Ed. (45% marks), or
- Senior Upadhyaya with B.El.Ed. or B.A.Ed. (50% marks).
- Must have passed the REET exam.
Upper Primary School Teacher (Hindi)
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
- Bachelor’s Degree (45% marks) with B.Ed. (as per NCTE 2002 norms), or
- Senior Secondary (50% marks) with 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A./B.Sc. course, or

- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education with Bachelor’s Degree, or
